That is probably the thing I hear most after a shoot.

I’m Rowan, the photographer behind Life in Style Photography in Auckland.

I photograph people, couples, businesses and events, creating natural images that feel relaxed, confident and full of personality.

A lot of people turn up feeling a bit nervous, especially if they haven’t done a proper shoot before.

They don’t know how to pose, what to do with their hands, or how to look like themselves without feeling awkward. Totally normal. That is exactly what I’m here for. I’ll guide you through the whole thing, keep it relaxed, and help you feel comfortable enough to actually enjoy it. No stiff posing, no rushed energy, and no expecting you to magically know what to do in front of a camera.

My goal is simple: I want you to leave feeling more confident than when you arrived, and to walk away with photos that make you think, “Yep, that’s me.”
